RETURN & REFUND POLICY

Thank you for shopping at Arya Marketplace.
 
If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with a purchase, we invite you to review our policy on refunds and returns.
 
The following terms are applicable for any products that you purchased with us:

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions.
 
The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.
 
DEFINITIONS
 
For the purposes of this Return and Refund Policy:
 
"Company" (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to Arya Marketplace.
"Goods" refers to the items offered for sale on the Service.
"Orders" means a request by you to purchase Goods from us.
"Service" refers to the Website.
"Website" refers to Arya Marketplace, accessible from https://arya.market/
"You" means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

WHAT IS RETURN AND REFUND POLICY
 
A Return and Refund Policy is a policy that dictates under what conditions customers can return products they have purchased from your e-commerce store and whether the vendor is obligated to reimburse them or not.
 
FREE RETURNS
 
Arya Marketplace shall not charge any extra charge for the return of a product purchased or item by a customer. This said, it is key to take note of the factors conditioning a return:
 
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may contact us and we will provide a FREE pre-paid return label for any order shipped within Nigeria.

Return your order to us within 7 days of when the order was shipped, and we shall process a full refund back through the original payment method.

Customers from outside Nigeria are not eligible for return.

Returns are only accepted for products purchased from https://arya.market/. We do not accept returns from 3rd party distribution.

After 7 days, if the product has not been burned or used, we will be able to offer store credit only.
Customers will be responsible for shipping costs for returns made past 7 days.

POLICY BASICS FOR RETURNS
 
We are here to create a better shopping experience from top to bottom, and that includes a 7-day return policy for any products.
 
However, where after 7 days you still intend to return the product, we charge a return shipping fee equal to 10% of what you paid for the product, with the original packaging intact. If you do not have the original packaging, the fee is 20% of the paid value. Of course, defective or damaged orders are covered by our warranty and aren't subject to any return shipping fees. Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment within 48 hours of confirmation that the shipping carrier is in possession of your return.
 
Depending on your financial institution it may take up to 2 weeks to receive your refund.
 
YOU CAN RETURN AN ITEM(S) FOR NO SPECIFIC REASONS
 
Although, there are a number of reasons for returning a product: product is wrong, damaged, defective or fake. Or perhaps, you decided you no longer want the item/product. However, if at the point of delivery, you no longer want an item, ensure all seals, tags and accessories are left intact. The delivery agent or the pickup center will assist you in returning the product at no cost to you.
 
100% REFUND ON COST OF PURCHASE & SHIPPING
 
This is mainly for customers who prepaid for their items. In any case they return a product, they will get their money back. There will be no deductions. Importantly, the refund time starts from the day the item you would like to return is picked up by a delivery agent to the day the refund process is completed. The refund timeline for Lagos, Ibadan, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Abeokuta and all other cities is 10 business days.
 
ITEMS CAN BE RETURNED WITHIN 7 DAYS AFTER PURCHASE
 
If you noticed that your item was defective, you should initiate a return within 7 days after purchase. You do this by completing the contact form on Arya Marketplace website. Any return process that starts after 7 days will not be treated. But if it is faulty, it may be covered under warranty.
 
REFUND PICK-UP TIMELINES
 
The return pick up time starts from the day you make a request to return an item to the day a delivery agent retrieves the item you plan to return. Also, only two pickup attempts will be made to retrieve the item within 1 to 3 business days in Lagos, Ibadan, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Abeokuta and all other cities. These timelines also apply if you are dropping your returns at a pick-up station.
